Academic interests:

My research interests are on the conservation, ecology, and life history of freshwater bivalves in the family Unionidae. As a masters student, I studied the life history of the state endangered snuffbox mussel, Epioblasma triquetra. For my doctoral dissertation, I am focusing on the interactions between mussels and their host fish, and how this affects mussel recruitment.
