UMMZ Egg Imaging Project
As a Graduate Student Curatorial Assistant (GSCA) in Fall 2023, under the guidance of Collections Manager Brett Benz, Wacker began imaging the Bird Division’s 4,000 sets of eggs, totaling over 14,000 individual eggs from nearly 600 different species.

Research Feature
A University of Michigan EEB led team documented 15 rare predator-prey interactions in the Amazon rainforest including images and video of a dinner plate-size tarantula dragging a young opossum.
